David on Printing
Printing photos at home using an inkjet printer is something that can strike terror into the heart of many a photographer but KPS resident techie, David Burren, brought his printer to our Wednesday meeting to show members just how easy it can be.
David gave us an oversight of how it is done, from choosing the right paper and ink combination and applying the right profiles to make sure that the ink, the paper, the printer and the computer all play together nicely.
Along with a discussion about print mounting and light sources for viewing prints, David answered questions from the meeting and mentioned that for KPS members there is a special price on prints (we think a discount to his normal prices, but aren’t sure). In any case, you can find out more by talking to David at a meeting or using the contact form on his website www.khromagery.com
