Adobe Photoshop Elements Classes

Adobe Photoshop Elements is a program designed for photographers.

Please note that this is NOT Adobe Photoshop. Photoshop Elements is much less expensive and less complicated than the full Photoshop program.

Elements allows the photographer to import photos onto their computer, database those images, edit those images, build online galleries and print images, among many other functions.

KPS runs a class in Photoshop Elements every year.

See a map and contact details here.

A decision as to whether this class runs in 2019 is yet to be made.

Some of the topics covered include:

  • Cropping
  • Adjusting Lighting
  • Brightness
  • Levels
  • Contrast
  • Sharpening
  • Colour
  • Perspective
  • Straightening verticals
  • Converting to monochrome
  • Removing distractions
  • Dodging and burning
  • Layers
  • Cutting out
  • Swapping an element from one image and placing it in another.
  • And much more!

Class will be by demonstration. You do not need to bring a computer.

If the terms above like Levels, Dodging and Layers don’t mean anything to you, don’t worry. Once you have done the course you will wonder how you used to manage without them.

Bring a pen, paper and a thirst for knowledge. Notes will be emailed to you upon payment for your enrolment.

Adobe Photoshop Elements can be purchased as a stand alone program for about $145.00. See here for details.
